Stanley Steamed
California Common Beer
This recipe is style after the 19th century West Coast beer’s that were brewed when ice was not available for lager fermentation. This style of beer is brewed with lager yeast at ale fermentation temperatures. A eye pleasing Orange/Amber color . Smooth, dry malty flavor with a hit of citrus from the hops. California Common Beers tend to be a bit hoppy with a residual sweetness from the caramel malts.
